| The CAR Club was designed to encourage and promote companion animal recovery through identification and enrollment in the AKC CAR recovery service. Membership is comprised of organizations that have made an impact on the enrollment and recovery process by being a part of a minimum of 5 recoveries or by hosting a microchip clinic that resulted in 25 or more animals being microchipped and enrolled with AKC CAR. |

| The President's Club recognizes organizations and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional work in the area of companion animal recovery. Membership also includes organizations that have been involved in at least 10 recoveries or have hosted a microchip clinic that resulted in 50 or more animals being microchipped and enrolled with AKC CAR.

Membership in the CAR Club and President's Club affords many benefits, including the following:
- Letter of congratulations
- A certificate suitable for posting in a reception area acknowledging organization's accomplishment
- Free copies of pertinent information on AKC CAR
- CAR or President's Club Decal
- Listing of the organization's name on the CAR website through December 31st, including links to their websites
- AKC CAR quarterly e-newsletter (provided we have an updated email address)
