The AKC Companion Animal Recovery Canine Support and Relief Fund is proud to support 144 deserving organizations, the majority are K–9 Search and Rescue (SAR) teams. Since 2002, we have proudly supported the crucial role these volunteers play during natural disasters and other emergencies with donations totaling $4 million. Nearly $500,000 was donated across 45 states to the following recipients in 2013.
